12. Set SIL Amplitude Threshold = 1400 mV. Verify that
this value is less than 25% of the SIL Surface
Amplitude and three times the SIL Margin Echo
Amplitude as described in “Final adjustment of
amplitude thresholds” on page 39.
13. Perform verification of safety alarm parameters as
described in Safety alarm setup / Step 4: Verify
safety alarm parameters on page 40.
14. It is important to open the SIL Safety Alarm window
and verify that there is no SIL Margin Echo above the
SIL Surface Distance. The SIL Surface Distance
should be accurate within ±50 mm. If not, check
tank geometry parameters and pipe diameter and
adjust if needed.
