3. INSTALLATION
The unit installation place must be chosen in compliance with local laws and regulations in force.
3.1 IDENTIFICATION
The unit can be identied thanks to the Identication Tag, previously exemplied and described, which is positioned inside the electrical cabinet.
The right identication of the unit, thanks to its serial number, is essential for carrying out any intervention on the unit and, in particular, it must
always be communicated to the Manufacturer, together with the technical support request.
3.2 RECEIPT AND INSPECTION
At receipt, immediately verify, through a visual inspection, that the unit is not damaged. If some damages /defects are found, accept the goods with reservation,
describing on the delivery note, the defects you have found and asking the forwarder to sign the notes for conrmation.
Any claim on the delivered goods must be sent to the Manufacturer within 8 days from goods receipt by e-mail, fax a or registered mail.
3.3 HANDLING
The handling of the unit must be done by skilled personnel, with equipment suitable to the machinery weight and dimension. During the handling, the unit must be
always kept in vertical position, with the base frame parallel to the ground.
The weight of some models could be unbalanced, therefore it could be required to check the unit stability before starting the handling.
For moving the equipment, the indication in the gures here below must be followed.
Lift the unit vertically, avoiding jerks and keep a speed suitable to the charge, in order to avoid to damage it.
For the units equipped with 8 base eyebolts, you need to use a sling bar (of suitable dimensions) with 4 connections for ropes. The interaxle spacing of
the sling bar connections must constitute an angle opening not larger than 30°on the upper side of the ropes.
If lifting is made through belts, ropes or bands, these must not make an excessive tractive effort on the unit, which can cause damages or breakings.
