11. The fan does not start
a) power failure /black out check main switch and power supply cable
b) Open protection switch
Reset the protection switch and check motor
amperage and absorption
c) transformer protection intervention Check any short circuit on the auxiliary circuit
d) defective contactor Repair or replace the contactor
e) Fans are not power supplied Check the fan power supplying electrical circuit
f) Fan thermal protection stops its functioning
Check if rotor is blocked or power supply is not
enough or there have been a phase lost.
g) Microprocessor is not power supplied (display is
off)
Check possible short circuits on the auxiliary circuit
h) Unit in OFF position Set ON position from the board.
5.4 ORDINARY MAINTENANCE
The unit must be repaired by qualied and trained personnel, equipped with individual protection devices in compliance with current local laws and regulation.
No modication must be carried out on the unit or any component replaced, without Manufacturer’s explicit authorization.
Any intervention made by technicians with specic skills (welders, electricians, programmers, etc) must be carried out under the supervision of personnel expert in
refrigeration eld.
During brazing and welding operation, all the components which could be damaged from the heat must be removed or covered with wet
cloths.
When the intervention is made uninstalling shut off valves, replace gaskets with new ones.
6. DEMOLITION AND DISPOSAL
At unit disposal, the different components the unit is made of must be divided and sent to the waste separated collection. This operation must be done by a
specialized rm, in compliance with current environmental laws.
Usually the unit is not charged with uids that can be dangerous for people, things or environment, since it works with water.
If the unit had worked with antifreeze mixture, collect all the uid contained in the unit and send it to a disposal authorized centre.
Do not disperse any antifreeze mixture if present in ambient.
