2. DESCRIPTION
2.1 Nomenclature
In the following scheme, it is explained the meaning of the device name acronym
The nominal cooling capacity is calculated with evaporator water 12/7°C, external air temperature 35°C and relative humidity 50%.
2.2 RAH/PAHKaSeriesVersion
The RAH Ka Series is available in 2 different versions:
Standard Version
Low Noise Version S
The PAH Ka heat pump series is available in Standard version
STANDARD VERSION
Air cooled chillers with semi-hermetic screw compressors (without sound proof cabinet), working on 1 or 2 independent circuits, user side shell & tube evaporator
and condensing coils, designed to operate till 45°C external air temperature.
LOW NOISE VERSION
Air cooled chillers with semi-hermetic screw compressors (without sound proof cabinet), working on 1 or 2 independent circuits, user side shell & tube evaporator
and oversized condensing coils, with reduced airow to the condenser coils (reached through the modication of the axial fans electrical connection) compressors
cabinet insulated by sound-proof mat.
2.3 Modelswithtotalorpartialheatrecovery
MODELSWITHTOTALHEATRECOVERY(RT)
Each model of RAH Ka series, on demand, is available in total heat recovery version (Option RT). In this conguration, each cooling circuit is equipped with a
refrigerant/water exchanger on gas discharge side. This exchanger, installed in parallel to the air condenser, is sized to recover 100% of the condensing heat to
produce hot sanitary water or for other heating applications.
MODELSWITHPARTIALHEATRECOVERY(RP)
Each model of RAH/PAH Ka series, on demand, is available in partial condensation heat recovery version (Option RP). In this conguration, each cooling circuit
is equipped with a refrigerant/water exchanger on gas discharge side. This exchanger, installed in series and upstream the air condenser, is designed to recover
about 20% of the condensing heat to produce hot /warm sanitary water.
