8.2.4 Room temp. probe Offset and room humidity
probe Offset
If a deviation is found between the room temperature and/or room
humidity values measured by the device, and the actual values
detected by a calibrated measuring instrument, an offset can be
applied.
In fact, there are numerous variables that can affect the measured
values, for example the type of installation (on recessed or flush
box), the characteristics of the wall (concrete, wood, plasterboard...)
and other environmental conditions.
For example, a magnetic sen-
sor that detects the opening of
a window can be connected to
the Window contact .
In this circumstance, the con-
sents of the Thermostat and
Humidistat are inhibited. The
Window contact is indicated
by the icon
.
For example, a "key card” can
be connected to the Presence
contact to detect the absence
of people in the place. In this
circumstance, the condition of
Out of House is forced.
The Presence contact is indi-
cated by the icon
.
