Chapter 5. Parameters
5.2 Description of basic parameters
- The parameters valid during POWER ON is displayed as ‘POWER’, and the parameter valid
during a RESET indicated as ‘RESET’.
- The setting value of [ ] is a setting value in a teach pendant.
P01 Types of controllers
Range MCU-XL, XP2 , XA2 Unit POWER
Definition
MCU-XP2: Pulse output type MCU [2]
MCU-XA2: Analog output type MCU [1]
MCU-XL: I/O control type MCU [0]
(Note) Do not change the value set during shipment from our company. If the
value is changed, then a window to confirm your password appears during
storage. If a wrong value is entered, then the controller works abnormally.
P02 Types of pulse outputs
Range CW/CCW, Pulse/Direction Unit POWER
Definition
This is a parameter valid for MCU-XP2.
CW/CCW: The direction is directed by separate pulse trains. [0]
Pulse/Direction: The direction is directed by a direction signal. [1]
Description
The output type of a position command pulse train signal(PPA, PPB) is set by
MCU-XP2.
The forward rotation and reverse rotation pulse trains are generated when
setting CW/CCW.
The direction and pulse trains are generated when setting a Pulse/Direction.
(Note) Set it in the same way as the input pulse type of a position motor
drive. If a wrong value is input, the axis moves only in one direction.
