Chapter 5. Parameters
P03 Maximum speed of pulse outputs
Range 375Kpps/3.75Mpps Unit POWER
Definition
This is a parameter valid for MCU-XP2.
375Kpps: Can make an output up to maximum 375Kpps. [0]
3.75Mpps: Can make an output up to maximum 3.75Mpps. [1]
Description
Set the maximum output speed of a position command pulse train signal(PPA,
PPB) at MCU-XP2.
Can generate pulse train in a 1pps unit from 1pps to 375Kpps when setting
375Kpps.
Can generate pulse train in a 10pps unit from 10pps to 3.75Mpps when setting
3.75Mpps.
(Note) Set it faster than the pulse train velocity of a motor drive requiring
high speed control input.
(Note) Set 375Kpps in the equipment where low speed control and speed change
are important.
P04 Types of extended controllers (station 1)
Range Not used / MCU-E / MCU-EL Unit POWER
Definition
Designate the type of extended I/O controllers. [0]/[1]/[2]
Not used: The No.1 station extended I/O controller is not used. [0]
MCU-E : Connect the MCU-E extended I/O controller to the No.1 station. [1]
MCU-EL : Connect the MCU-EL extended I/O controller to the No.1 station. [2]
Description
Set this when adding an extended I/O controller to MCU.
Set the setting value in the same way as the model name of the extended I/O
controller.
(Note) Even though the extended I/O controller is physically connected, if
this value is not set, then communication with the extension I/O controller is
not executed.
(Note) Check the F0.E, F0.F contact after adding an extended I/O controller.
If the contact value is set to ‘1’, it indicates that there happened an
error in setting or wiring.
(Note) When changing the value, there appears a window to confirm your
password.
P05 Types of extended controllers (station 2)
Range Not used / MCU-E / MCU-EL Unit POWER
Definition
Designate the type of extended I/O controllers. [0]/[1]/[2]
Not used: The No.2 station extended I/O controller is not used. [0]
MCU-E : Connect the MCU-E extended I/O controller to the No.2 station. [1]
MCU-EL : Connect the MCU-EL extended I/O controller to the No.2 station. [2]
Description
Set this when adding an extended I/O controller to MCU.
Set the setting value in the same way as the model name of the extended I/O
controller.
(Note) Even though the extended I/O controller is physically connected, if
this value is not set, then communication with the extended I/O controller is
not executed.
(Note) Check the F0.E, F0.F contact after adding an extended I/O controller.
If the contact value is set to ‘1’, it indicates that there happened an
error in setting or wiring.
(Note) When changing the value, there appears a window to confirm your
password.
