2 Printer Installation
Ethernet Requirements
You can connect multiple network printers to one PC. The maximum number of printers depends
on the capacity of the network to deliver data to the printer.
The following components are required to install a printer on a network:
An Ethernet network that uses the TCP/IP protocol and can run at one of the following:
1Gbase-T (1 gigabyte per second) or 100base-T (100 megabits per second).
An Ethernet cable to connect the printer to the network. (An Ethernet cable is not supplied
with the printer.)
A PC that meets the “PC Requirements” on page 1, and is connected to, and communicating
with, the network.
Electrical Requirements
The power supply detects the input voltage and works within the range stated.
