Troubleshooting
Checking the Printer Status
Checking Messages on the LCD Screen
If an error message or guidance information is displayed on the LCD screen, follow the on-screen
instructions or the solutions below to solve the problem. When the printer is paused after solving the
problem, press the Pause button to restart operation.
Messages Solutions
XX paper is jammed.
Remove it.
To clear the paper jam, see “Clearing a Paper Jam” on page 94
Printer error.
Contact Epson Support.
An unknown printer error has occurred.
Turn off the printer and leave it off for several minutes; then turn it on again. If the error
occurs again, contact your dealer.
