You See Only a Few Dots in Your Scanned Image
Make sure the original is placed on the scanner glass with the side to be scanned facing down.
In Home Mode, Oce Mode, or Professional Mode in EPSON Scan, and when Black & White is selected as
the Image Type, change the
reshold
setting. In Home Mode, click Brightness to display the adjuster.

A Line or Line of Dots Always Appears in Your Scanned Images
Clean the scanner glass and document mat. If the problem continues, the scanner glass may be scratched.
Contact your dealer for assistance.
Remove any dust from the original.

Make sure the original is placed at on the scanner glass. Also make sure your original is not wrinkled or
warped.
Make sure you do not move the original or the scanner while scanning.
Make sure the scanner is placed on a at, stable surface.
In Oce Mode or Professional Mode in EPSON Scan, select Unsharp Mask.
Increase the resolution setting.
