setting.

Make sure the original is placed perfectly straight on the scanner glass.
In Home Mode,
Oce
Mode, or Professional Mode in EPSON Scan, and when Black & White is selected as
the Image Type, change the reshold setting. In Home Mode, click Brightness to display the adjuster.
In Home Mode or Oce Mode in EPSON Scan, select Image Option from the Image Adjustments setting,
and then select Text Enhancement.

Scanned Colors Dier From the Original Colors
Make sure the image type setting is correct in EPSON Scan.
In Home Mode, Oce Mode, or Professional Mode in EPSON Scan, click Conguration. Select the Color
tab, and then select Color Control and set the Display Gamma setting to match your output device, such as a
monitor or printer.
Make sure you enable the Embed ICC Prole setting in EPSON Scan. Select JPEG (*.jpg) or TIFF (*.tif) as the
Type setting on the File Save Settings window. Click Options, and then select Embed ICC
Prole
.
Check the color matching and color management capabilities of your computer, display adapter, and
applications. Some computers can change the palette of colors on your screen.
