Even though the PIN code method sets up the scanner for Wi-Fi network, you need to set the connection mode switch to

2. Hold down the button on the scanner and turn it on.
Continue holding down the
button until the Ready and lights on the scanner ash alternately.
3. Use your computer to enter the PIN code (an eight-digit number) on the label stuck to the bottom face of the
scanner into the access point within two minutes.
When the Ready and
lights on the scanner stay on, Wi-Fi setup for the scanner is complete.
