Note: The front PE (paper-end) detector is located in front of the printer mechanism and the rear PE detector
is located behind the printer mechanism.
(1) Top entrance
Figure 2-12 shows the paper path for friction feeding using the top entrance. The top entrance is used only
for friction feed method. When the top entrance is used, the rear PE detector senses when the paper is out.
