Place the platen on a flat surface with the back
side facing up.

Peel off the pad that has been folded over the
edges.
Note:
Pads that have been stuck to the platen for a long
time may be hard to peel off. In this case, use a
commercially available spatula for peeling off
labels.

Turn it over and press the front of the platen.

Peel off the grip pad from back to front.
If any glue remains on the platen, soak a soft cloth
in a diluted neutral detergent, wring it out
thoroughly, and then wipe off the glue.
Switching from Polo to Zipper
(only when using the medium
grooved platen)
When loading media with a protruding section in the
center such as a zipper, remove the square part before
use.
For other media, install the square part.

Remove the platen's frame.
