Parallel adjustment
In the following cases, perform parallel adjustment for
the Media Feeding Unit and Auto Take-up Reel Unit.
❏ There are problems with media feeding
❏ There are problems with take-up
❏ The printer has been moved
Parallel adjustment requires two persons because the
front and rear side of the printer must be checked and
adjusted simultaneously.
Preparations for Parallel
Adjustment
Perform parallel adjustment using the included roll core
and adjustment tools. Ready the following items before
beginning adjustment.

Note:
When the film will be reused, the adhesive side may be
soiled. Soak a lint-free cloth in water, wring it out, and
then use it to wipe away the dust and lint stuck to the
reverse side.
Parallel Adjustment for the
Media Feeding Unit
A
Confirm that the printer is off.

Open the front cover and raise the media loading
lever.
C
On the rear side of the printer, use the large
hexagon wrench to loosen the four fixing screws
in the illustration.
