Paper Source Settings
Paper Setup
Select the paper size and paper type you loaded in the paper source.
Paper Setting Alert
Alerts you when the paper settings of a print job dier from the settings stored in the printer.
Paper Conguration
Automatically displays the paper settings screen when paper is loaded. Disable this function if you
always load the same size of paper and you do not want to make paper settings every time you load
paper. AirPrint is not available when this is disabled. Also, the printer does not warn you even if the
paper settings do not match the paper you loaded.
Quiet Mode
Reduces the noise the printer makes, however, this may reduce print speed. Depending on the paper
type and print quality settings you selected, there may be no dierence in the printer's noise level.
Power O Timer
Automatically turns the printer o if no operations are performed for a period of time. You can adjust
the time before power management is applied. Any increase will
aect
the products energy
eciency.
Please consider the environment before making any change.
Language
Select the display language.
Sleep Timer
Select the time period before the printer enters sleep mode (energy saving mode) when no operations
are performed. e LCD screen turns black when the set time passes.
Menu Options for Network Settings
Select the menus on the control panel as described below.
Setup > Network Settings
Network Status
Displays or prints the network settings and connection status.
Wi-Fi Setup
See the Network Guide to make the following settings.
Wi - Fi S e t up Wi z a rd
Select a SSID, enter a password, and then connect the printer to a wireless (Wi-Fi) network.
Push Button Setup (WPS)
Connects the printer to a wireless (Wi-Fi) network by pressing a WPS push button on a wireless
router.
