Display y.1 ECB fault Check IES 2 and VIO electrosurgi-
cal unit software versions for
compatibility.
Display y.2 Excess temperature (> 60 °C) Switch off the unit and wait until
the temperature in the interior of
the unit has returned to normal.
Display y.3 Insufficient temperature (< 0 °C) Switch off the unit and wait until
the temperature in the interior of
the unit has returned to normal.
Display y.4 Software error (check total) Reinstall software. 
IMPORTANT! Software may only
be re-installed and updated by
Erbe Elektromedizin. Send unit for
repair.
Display y.5 Setup parameter error Restart unit. 
Carry out re-initialisation.
Display y.6 Filter data erroneous Restart unit. 
Carry out re-initialisation. 
If necessary, replace filter.
Display y.7 Pressure sensor error Restart unit. 
Replace control board.
