leverandwaitforthebladetostop.Feelthebagto
determinewhetherthebagneedstobeemptied.

1.Releasethebladecontrollockleverandwait
forthebladeandallmovingpartstostop.
2.Raisethereardischargedoorandgraspthe
handleonthebag.
3.Liftthebagoffofthelawnmowerandlower
thereardischargedoor.
4.Graduallytipthebagforwardtoemptythe
clippings.
5.Toinstallthebag,refertothesectionon
InstallingtheGrassBag.

Ifthereardischargedoordoesnotclose
completely,thelawnmowercouldthrow
objects.Thrownobjectscanresultin
seriouspersonalinjuryordeathtothe
operatororbystanders.
•Neveropenthedoortotherear
dischargeopeningwhenthebladesare
stillmoving.
•Ifyoucannotclosethedoorbecause
thegrassclippingsclogthedischarge
area,stoptheengineandgentlymove
thedischargedoorhandlebackand
forthuntilyoucanclosethedoor
completely.Ifyoustillcannotclosethe
door,removetheobstructionwitha
stick,notyourhand.
