2.Removethesparkplug.
3.Usinganoilcan,addaboutonetablespoonofoil
tothecrankcasethroughthesparkplughole.
4.Slowlyrotatetheengineseveraltimes,usingthe
starterrope,todistributetheoil.
5.InstallthesparkplugbutDoNotconnectthe
wiretothesparkplug.

6.Servicetheairlter.RefertoServicingtheAir
FilterinMaintenance.
7.Tightenallnuts,bolts,andscrews.
8.Touchupallrustedorchippedpaintsurfaceswith
paintavailablefromanAuthorizedServiceDealer.
RemovingtheLawnMower
fromStorage
1.Checkandtightenallfasteners.
2.Removethesparkplugandspintheenginerapidly
bypullingthestarterropetoblowexcessoilfrom
thecylinder.
3.Cleanthesparkplugorreplaceitifitiscracked,
broken,oriftheelectrodesareworn.
4.Installthesparkplugandtorqueitto17ft-lb(23
N-m).
5.Performanyneededmaintenanceprocedures.
6.Fillthefuelinthefueltankwithfreshgasoline.
7.Checktheengineoillevel.
8.Connectthewiretothesparkplug.
