1.Movetheleverstothecenter,unlockedposition.
2.Togoforward,slowlypushthemotioncontrol
leversforward(Figure9).

Togostraight,applyequalpressuretoboth

Toturn,pullbackonthemotioncontrollever
towardthedirectionyouwanttoturn(Figure9).
Thefartheryoumovethemotioncontrollevers
ineitherdirection,thefasterthemachinewill
moveinthatdirection.
Tostop,pullthemotioncontrolleverstoneutral.
Backward
1.Movetheleverstothecenter,unlockedposition.
2.Togobackward,slowlypullthemotioncontrol
leversrearward(Figure9).
Togostraight,applyequalpressuretoboth
motioncontrollevers(Figure9).
Toturn,releasethepressureonthemotion
controllevertowardthedirectionyouwantto
turn(Figure9).
Tostop,pushthemotioncontrolleverstoneutral.
StoppingtheMachine
Tostopthemachine,movethemotioncontrol
leverstoneutralandoutwardtotheneutralposition,
disengagethebladecontrolswitch,movethethrottle
levertobetweenFastandhalfthrottle,andturnthe
ignitionkeytooff.Remembertoremovethekey
fromtheignitionswitch.
CAUTION
Childrenorbystandersmaybeinjuredifthey
moveorattempttooperatethemowerwhile
itisunattended.
Alwaysremovetheignitionkeyandmovethe
motioncontrolleversoutwardtotheneutral
positionandapplytheparkingbrakewhen
leavingthemachineunattended,evenifjust
forafewminutes.
AdjustingtheHeightofCut
1.Raisethedecktothetransportposition(4.5inch
(114mm)cutheight)bypushingthefootactuated
leverforward(Figure10).Thetransportleverwill
automaticallyengageandwilldropintoplace.
