PaperElement:
1.Lightlytaptheelementonaatsurfacetoremove
dustanddirt.
2.Inspecttheelementfortears,anoilylm,and
damagetotheseal.
Important:Donotcleanthepaperelement
withpressurizedairorliquids,suchas
solvent,gas,orkerosene.Replacethepaper
elementifitisdamagedorcannotbecleaned
thoroughly.
3.Replacethepaperelementifitisdamaged.
InstallingtheAirCleaner
1.Installthefoampre-cleanerelementoverthe
paperelement.
Note:Ensurethatyoudonotdamagethe
elements.
2.Installtheaircleanerelementsontotheaircleaner
base.
3.Installthecoverandsecureitwiththeretaining
clamps(seeFigure43).
CheckingtheEngineOilLevel
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily
Important:Donotoverllthecrankcasewithoil
andruntheengine;enginedamagemayresult.
1.Parkmachineonlevelground,disengagetheblade
controlswitch,engagetheparkingbrake,stop
engine,andremovekey.Waitforallmovingparts
tostopbeforeleavingtheoperator’sposition.
2.Makesuretheengineisstopped,level,andiscool
sotheoilhashadtimetodrainintothesump.
3.Tokeepdirt,grassclippings,etc.,outof
theengine,cleantheareaaroundtheoilll
cap/dipstickbeforeremovingit.
4.Checktheengineoillevel.
