OperatingtheBlades
Thebladecontrolswitch,representedbyapower
take-off(PTO)symbol,engagesanddisengages
powertothemowerblades.Thisswitchcontrols
powertoanyattachmentsthatdrawpowerfromthe
engine,includingthemowerdeckandcuttingblades.
EngagingtheBlades
1.Releasepressureonthemotioncontrolleversand
placethemachineinneutral.
2.MovethethrottlemidwaytotheFastposition.
Note:Alwaysengagethebladeswiththethrottle
inthemidwayposition.
3.Pulloutonthebladecontrolswitch,totheOn
position,toengagetheblades(
Figure9).
