Desktop Mounting
Placement without a mounting kit
The TLP Pro 1022T has a stand that allows it to be placed on a desktop. The unit can be
secured to the desktop using screws.

1. Under the table top, mark the location of two mounting holes, 3.07inches (78 mm) apart.
2. Drill two holes through the table top from underneath.
3. Attach the touchpanel, using two #8 machine screws through the table top from underneath
into the two holes in the base (see figure 22,
A
).
SMA-1 swivel mount adapter
The TLP Pro 1022T can be mounted with the optional Extron SMA-1 swivel mount adapter,
which allows it to be mounted permanently and swivel up to 180° in either direction.
1. Remove the base and back covers (see Removing the Base and Back Covers on the
previous page).
2. Remove the screw holding the locking plate at the bottom of the base (see figure 22,
B
).
This releases the weight, which can be removed from the top of the base, leaving the
mounting hole that fits over the conduit of the SMA-1.
3. Attach the conduit, insulation disk, and swivel disk and configure the set screws to allow for
the degree of swivel that is required (see the SMA-1 Swivel Mount Adapter Kit User Guide,
available at www.extron.com).
4. Place the mounting hole in the base over the SMA-1 conduit.
5. Secure the unit with the backing plate and locking nut as described in the SMA-1 Swivel
Mount Adapter Kit User Guide.
VESA Mounting
1. Remove the back cover (see Removing the Base and Back Covers, on the previous
page).
2. Remove the four screws holding the touchpanel to its base. There are two screws in each
base attachment hinge (see figure 3,
G
on page 5).
3. Use a D-type VESA mounting kit with 75 x 75 mm mounting pattern. Attach the mounting
plate to the VESA mounting holes (see figure 3,
F
). Follow the instructions provided with
the kit.
