MAINTENANCE
Front brake
Check that the brake fluid level is over the “MIN” mark.
Check the pads and disks for wear and if they do not need
replacing, proceed with topping up.
Front brake topping up
Using a Phillips screwdriver loosen the two screws securing
the brake fluid tank cover. Remove the latter and its gasket,
taking care to place them on a clean surface. Top up with
suitable brake fluid, see LUBRICANTS, taking care not to
exceed the “MAX” level positioned inside the fluid tank.
When pads or disks are worn, never top up to the “MAX
level because if these parts are subsequently replaced,
the fluid could flow out of its tank.
If, on the contrary, these parts have been replaced, it is
advisable to top up to the “MAX” level.
Replace the gasket and replace the cover; insert and tighten
the two screws and wipe the surfaces clean with a cloth if
there has been any spillage.
Check braking efficiency and check the braking system
for leaks; in the event of malfunction, consult a FANTIC
MOTOR Dealer.
