Fill level
When the engine is hot the coolant is under pressure
and reaches a high temperature. If the cap is opened
there is the risk of burns to the skin. ONLY remove
the coolant cap (1) when the engine is at ambient
temperature.
If the coolant level, when the cap is removed, is visible and
completely covers the internal channels of the radiator, then
there is a “full level”.
To check the full level, follow this procedure:
– Make sure that the engine is cold.
– Keep the vehicle in a vertical position and with both
wheels resting on the ground.
– Turn the handlebar to the left.
– Unscrew (counter-clockwise) the filler cap (1) about one turn.
– Wait a few seconds to allow the pressure in the system, if any, to release.
– Unscrew the filler cap (1) again (counter-clockwise) and remove it.
– Check the coolant level inside the radiator.
– Add the coolant necessary to restore the correct level.
When adding the coolant, be very careful not to exceed the “full level”, otherwise spillages may occur during the
vehicle operation and its operation may be affected.
If a significant liquid consumption is noticed, check that there are no leaks from the radiator or from the pipe
sleeves. Contact a FANTIC MOTOR Dealer for repairs.
