Cylinder (only type DGPL-...-...-KF or type DGP-... with suitable
guide) and linear potentiometer (only type MLO-POT-...-TFL)
• Use only permitted cylinder-potentiometer combinations
(same stroke length, cylinder with bilateral air supply).
• Fitting is only permitted in a horizontal or a vertical position.
• Loosen completely the adjusting screws for the end position
cushioning (PPV).
• Fit the potentiometer so that it is symmetrical to the centre of
the cylinder and electrically isolated.
• Fit the cylinder, the guide and the potentiometer parallel and
free of play in the direction of movement.
• In dusty or dirty environments fit the potentiometer with the
actuating slide facing downwards.
Fixed stops (with cylinders of type DGPL-... e.g. type KYP-...
without shock absorber)
• Limit the working stroke with fixed stops so that it does not
extend into the range of the internal end position cushioning
(PPV).
Mass load
• Fasten the mass load to the slide without play.
