cylinder.
Verifythecontainerbyensuringthefinalfillpressureisasdetailedaboveat59°F(15°C).Ifrequired,referto
thepressurevs.temperaturechartforIG‐55inAppendixA.2.
Closethevalvebyunscrewingthecentralscrewonthefillingadaptorandremovingthetophalfofthe
adaptor.Noticehowthedowelontheinternalpieceofthefillingadaptormovesdownwardduringthis
operation.
ProceedwithremovalofthebottomhalfofthefillingadaptorbyunscrewingthetwoM6capscrews.Remove
thisadaptorfromthevalveandcheckthatthespringwasherhasdroppedlowerthanitsoriginaldepth.
Ventthefillinghoseandcheckthatthereisnoflowfromthevalveoutlet.
Fitthevalvelockoutassembly ontothevalve(seefigurebelow)priortoremovingthefillinghose.
Removethefillinghoseandscrewtherecoilcapontothedischargeoutlet.
Removethevalvelockoutassemblyfromthevalveaftertherecoilcaphasbeenfitted.
Proceedtoleakchecking(refertoSection5.0).
Checkthecontainerpressure(refertoSection6.0).
Oncetestingiscomplete,screwthesh ipping/safetycapontothecylinder.
