argon,andthennitrogen,asdetailedinthetablebelowforthesystempressurerequired:

Closevalvebyunscrewingthecentralscrewonthefillingadaptorandremovethetophalfoftheadaptor.
Noticethedowelontheinternalpieceofthefillingadaptormovedownwardsduringthisoperation.
ProceedwithremovalofthebottomhalfofthefillingadaptorbyunscrewingthetwoM6setscrews.Remove
thisadaptorfromvalveandcheckthatthespringwasherhasdroppedlowerthanitsoriginaldepth.
Ventthefillinghoseandcheckthatthereisnoflowfromthevalveoutlet.
Fitthevalvelockoutassembly ontothevalve(Figure4.2.3‐1)priortoremovingthefillinghose.
Removethefillinghoseandscrewtherecoilcapontothedischargeoutlet.
Removethevalvelockoutassemblyfromthevalveaftertherecoilcaphasbeenfitted.
Proceedtoleakchecking(Section5).
Checkthecontainerpressure(Section6).
Oncetestingiscomplete,screwthesh ipping/safetycapontothecylinder.
