Inverter network configuration
The inverter requires a valid network conguration in order to operate.
This information can either be provided by a DHCP server provided by
the customers network (the default), or the inverter can be congured
with static network information. Regardless of how the inverter is con-
gured, the following information is required.
Conguration Purpose
IP Address
Allows the inverter to take part in the local network. This does not need to
be a public IP address. In most cases this is a private IP address.
Subnet mask Used to determine if two computers are on the same network.
Gateway
The IP address of the computer which will forward network trafc from the
local network to an external network
DNS Server The IP address(es) of the computer(s) which resolve domain names.
