If your FireAngel smoke alarm activates even when there's no visible smoke, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the battery is correctly fitted and, if it's been in use for over 12 months, replace it. For SI-601 models, try wiping the alarm with a slightly damp cloth to eliminate static electricity. It's also advisable to verify the alarm's placement and clean it as described in the ‘Positioning’ and ‘Routine Maintenance’ sections, respectively.
