    • J
      Jesse McknightJul 27, 2025
If your Fisher Metal Detector chatters, beeps erratically, or has low sensitivity, here's what to check: * If you are using the detector indoors, use it outdoors only. * If you are near power lines, move away from them. * If there are two detectors in close proximity, keep them at least 6 meters (20’) apart. * If there is environmental electromagnetic interference, reduce the sensitivity until the erratic signals cease.

Why does my Fisher F11 display not lock on to one Target-ID?
    • M
      Michael OchoaAug 3, 2025
The display on your Fisher Metal Detector might not lock onto one Target-ID, or the detector may emit multiple tones because: * Multiple targets could be present. Try sweeping the searchcoil at different angles. * The soil could be highly mineralized. Try moving to a different location. * The sensitivity might be set too high. Reduce the sensitivity.
