N.B. If the positioner is installed in a
hazardous environment, it must be of a
type approved for this purpose.
The positioner has an ISO F05 footprint
(A). The holes are used to attach it to the
mounting bracket (B), which is suitable for
most types of linear actuators.
The arm (C) is graduated in mm and

inches. The scale is used to adjust the pin
(D) so its position corresponds to the stroke
of the valve stem.
It is important that the positioner’s
spindle and the arms, that transfer the
actuator movements, are correctly mounted.
Any tension between these parts can cause
incorrect operation and abnormal wear.
