DC Current Probe is a clamp-on probe
that
is used with a
voltmeter, multimeter,
or
oscilloscope to read dc, ac, or
composite (aeon

currents.
The
jaws on the Y8100 are designed
to clamp around conductors up to
3/4
inch in diameter.
The
pistol shape allows safe, easy,
one-hand operation when
making current
measurement. The Model
Y8
100
probe is battery
powered
with size AA cells. It measures
current
to 200A dc or ac rms using
almost any voltmeter. Two
ranges, 20A and 200A,
produce a
2V output at full-range current.
