(hosts and other network devices).

DSP-FTK, Fiber
Optic Test Kit
The DSP-FTK Fiber Test Kit is used to measure
the optical power loss of fiber optic cables. The kit
includes an optical power meter (DSP-FOM) and
an optical power source (FOS-850/1300).
Together these instruments can verify the
performance of multimode fiber optic cable.
Simply connect the test kit's RJ-48 connector into
the analyzer's 10/100 BASE-TX port, go to the
analyzer's Cable Test screen and select the Fiber
Test tab to perform fiber measurements. Refer to
the analyzer's Help topic "Fiber Test" for setup
procedures.
The DSP-FTK Fiber Test Kit is supplied in a hard
carrying case with the following:
• One (1) DSP-FOM power meter
• One (1) FOS-850/1300 power source
• One (1) ST-ST singlemode-capable adapter
• Two (2) ST-ST jumper cables
• User documentation consisting of an
instruction sheet and registration card
