Configuration overview
Item Description
Font Size Select the size of the text.
Font Color Allows you to change the default font color. Your choices are black, white, and
gray. To immediately apply the new font color setting and reboot the phone, press
the OK soft key. To reboot the phone later, press the Cancel soft key or no key.

Label Truncation Mode Select how truncated labels are displayed on the phone.
Backlight - Active Adjust screen brightness while the phone is active.
Backlight - Inactive Adjust screen brightness while the phone is inactive.
Backlight time Select time to wait until phone is considered to be in an inactive state.
Screensaver timer Select time to wait until screensaver is activated.
Audio
Setting > Preference > Audio allows you to determine how the phone rings:
Item Description
Ring Tone Select the ring tone to play when receiving a call.
Delayed Ring Select how long to delay the ring tone from being heard when receiving an
incoming call.
Volume Ring: Select the ring volume heard on the phone.
To turn the ringer off:
1. Press the left navigation key or soft key to the lowest level (one square). You
will no longer hear the ring tone.
2. Press the OK soft key.

Microphone Gains You can adjust the microphone volume of the accessories. For example, if the
caller is complaining about being unable to hear you, you can increase the
microphone gain for that accessory.
