Text message
All received text messages from the FortiVoice phone system are displayed here.
The FortiVoice administrator can create a message group (including a number, message, and user group)on the
FortiVoice phone system. When the FortiVoice administrator dials the group number, the system sends the text
message to the phone extensions included in the group. For more details about sending text messages to FON-
x80/x80B series phones, see the Creating message groups section in the FortiVoice Phone System Administration
Guide.
Viewing a text message
1. In App, select Text Message.
2. Press the Enter soft key.
3. Select the text message to view.
4. Press the Enter soft key.
Deleting a text message
1. In App, select Text Message.
2. Press the Enter soft key.
3. Select the text message to delete.
4. Press the Delete soft key.
5. To confirm, press the OK soft key.
Deleting all text messages
1. In App, select Text Message.
2. Press the Enter soft key.
3. Press the Del.All soft key.
4. To confirm, press the OK soft key.
Visual voicemail
To access the visual voicemail, your phone can prompt you to enter your voicemail PIN.
However, if the FortiVoice phone system administrator has disabled the Voicemail password
option, you can access the visual voicemail without entering your voicemail PIN.
The Visual Voicemail section displays voice messages in their respective folders, as stored on the FortiVoice unit.
Available folders are All, Urgent, New, and Old.
