Call features
The phone has a variety of features that can assist you in your communication needs.

Redialing
Allows you to redial the last number dialed:
l
Press . The phone activates the speakerphone and places the call.
l
You can also lift the handset or press followed by pressing .
Hold
To place calls on hold, press the Hold soft key. While a call is on hold, you can answer or place other calls. The held party
will hear music, if configured to do so on the FortiVoice phone system.
To toggle between two calls, use the navigation keys and press the Answer or Resume soft key.
When members in a shared line appearance (SLA) group receive a call, they can perform one of the following hold
actions:
l
Long press the Hold soft key and select one of the following two options:
l
Private Hold:Prevents other members in the SLA group to pick up the call.
l
Public Hold:Allows other members in the SLA group to pick up the call.
l
Short press the Hold soft key puts the call on a public hold.
Mute
Mute turns the phone’s microphone on or off:
l
Press to disable the microphone. The mute button will turn red.
l
Press again to enable the microphone. The mute button will no longer be red.
