The door of this oven can only bear a maximum weight of 7kg. Do not allow
children to sit on the door or lean against or shake the door.
Technical security
Unauthorized installation, maintenance and repair may pose a significant risk to
users. Installation, maintenance and repair can be carried out only by the
technical staff authorized by Franke.
Do not use damaged electrical appliance, which may cause danger. Please check
the electrical appliance for obvious damage before use.
Only when the electric appliance is connected with an effective grounding system
can the safety of power use be guaranteed. The standard safety requirements
must be met. In case of any question, please have a qualified electrician check the
circuit connections.
To avoid damage to the appliance, make sure that the connection parameters
(voltage and power) on the product nameplate match the total power supply
before connecting the appliance to the power supply. If in doubt, please consult a
qualified electrician.
Never connect the power supply through a multi-function socket or terminal block.
There is no guarantee of electrical safety (fire hazard).
For safety reasons, this appliance can only be used after installation.
This appliance should not be used in a non-stationary place (e.g. on a ship).
Modification of power cords, components or mechanical parts may pose a high
risk to users and may cause operational failure.
Never open the electrical enclosure without authorization.
Within the warranty period, this appliance can only be repaired by the technical
personnel authorized by Franke. Otherwise, the warranty will be invalid.
Franke will not guarantee the safety of the electrical appliance unless the original
accessories of Franke are used. Be sure to replace the faulty component with the
original Franke accessories.
If the wire is damaged or the appliance is not equipped with a wire, a special wire
must be replaced or installed by a qualified electrician.
During installation, maintenance and repair work, the electrical power must be cut
off.
To ensure proper operation, the oven needs an appropriate amount of cold air.
Please make sure that the supply of cold air is not affected (such as insulation
bars in cabinets) and not overheated by other heat sources, such as solid fuel
furnace.
If the oven is installed behind a furniture panel (such as behind a door), make sure
that the door is always open during use of the oven. Heat and moisture may
accumulate behind closed furniture panels, causing serious damage to the oven,
cabinets and floor. Leave the oven to cool completely before closing the door.
Safety in use
Beware of burns.
The oven heats up when used. Burns can be caused by heating elements, the inside
of the oven, food cooked or oven accessories. When putting food in the oven, turning
the food over or taking it out, and adjusting the shelving with heat insulating gloves.
