Connecting the Router with LAN Cable
You can connect the FRITZ!Repeater 6000 to your internet router
(FRITZ!Box) with a LAN cable. Use this kind of connection in the follow-
ing cases:
The internet router does not have Wi-Fi.
The FRITZ!Repeater is to be deployed at a location where no stable
Wi-Fi connection to the internet router is possible.
A LAN connection to the FRITZ!Box can be established from the
place where the FRITZ!Repeater is being used, for example using
the existing cabling in your home.
Mesh Wi-Fi
The FRITZ!Repeater supports Mesh in combination with a FRITZ!Box
with FRITZ!OS7.00 or higher. Mesh connects FRITZ! products that sup-
port Wi-Fi to form an especially powerful Wi-Fi network with a single
name and password.
