Changing the Name of the Wi-Fi Network (SSID)
Overview
You can change the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) of the FRITZ!Repeater.
Note
In the Mesh of a FRITZ!Box, the FRITZ!Repeater automatically adopts
the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) from the FRITZ!Box (Mesh Master).
If you would like to configure a unique Wi-Fi network name (SSID) for
the FRITZ!Repeater in the Mesh, you can disable adoption of the set-
tings; see page52.
Example
The FRITZ!Repeater has the same SSID as your internet router (FRITZ!
Box). However, you would specifically like to select the Wi-Fi network
of the FRITZ!Repeater on a wireless device.
Instructions: Changing the Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID)
1. Open the user interface; see page44.
2. Select “Wi-Fi / Wi-Fi Network”.
