Switching the notebook on for the first time

When you s witch your notebook on for the first time, the supplied softw are is
installed and configured. Due to the fact that this installation procedu re must not
be interrupted, you should set aside enou gh time for it to be fully completed and
connect the notebook to the mains outlet using the mains adapter.
During installation, the notebook must only be rebooted when
you are requested to do so!
Your operating system is pre-
installed on the hard disk to facilitate the procedure
when you use your notebook fo
rthefirst time.

► Slide the release button in the direction
of the arrow (1) and unfold the LCD
screen upward (2).

The power-on indicator is lit.
