Status ind icators Description
Wireless co mponents indicator
• The indicator is lit: The w ireless compo nents are switched on.
• The indicator i s not lit: The wireless components are switched off.

• The indicator is not lit: The notebook is switch ed off.
Battery charging indicator/power connector
The state of charge of the battery is shown by the battery indicator.
With mains adapter connected:
• The indicator lights up blue: The battery is fully charged.
• The indicator flashes orange: The state of charge of the battery is
less than 12%.
• Indicator flashes purple: a fault has occurred. The battery cannot be
recharged.
• The indicator is off: The system is in battery mode and the mains
adapter is not connected or the battery is not installed.

Drive indicator

The indicator is lit: One of the drives (e.g. hard disk, CD/DVD) is being
accessed.
Num Lock indicator

key has been pressed . The virtual numerica l
keypad is activated. You can output the characters indicated on the upper
right of the ke ys.
Caps Lock indicato r

The indicator is lit: T he Caps Lock k ey has been pressed. All the characters
you type will appear in upper case. In the case o f overlay keys, the
character printed on the upper left of the key will appear whe n tha t key
is pressed.
