A graphics card (display adapter) w
ith VGA interface or a digital display adapter with
DVI i nterface is required to contr
ol the LCD monitor. The monitor pro cesses the da ta
supplied to it by the display ada
pter. The display adapter or the associated driver so ftware
is responsible for setting the m
odes (resolution and refresh rate).
When putting the monitor into op
eration for the rst time, the screen display should be
optimally adapted to the displa
y adapter used and adjusted in accordance with y our
needs (see chapter "

e monitor settings", Page 15).
