Control of t
he LCD monitor requires: a display adapter (screen controller) with a VGA interface, or a
digital di
splay ada pter with a DVI interface, or a v ideo signal source with a DisplayPort interface.
The monito
r processes the data supplied to it by the display adapter. The disp lay adapter or the
associat
ed driver software is responsible for setting the modes (resolution and refresh rate).
When putt
ing the monitor into operation for the first time , the screen display should be
optimal
ly adapted to the display adapter used and a d justed in acco rdance w ith y our
