Indicator Description
Energy saving functions indicator
• The indicator is illuminated: The energy saving functions are enabled (e.g.
reduce screen brightness).
• The indicator is not illuminated: The energy saving functions have bee n
disabled.
Drive indicator

The indicator is illuminated: The h ard disk drive or the CD/DVD in the optical drive
of the n otebook is being accessed.
Num Lock indicator

key has been pressed. The v irtual
numerical keypad is activated. You can output the characters indicated on the
upper right of the keys.
Caps L ock indicator

The indicator is illuminated: The Caps Lock key has been pressed. All the
characters you type will appear in upper ca se. In the case of overlay keys, the
character printed on the upper left of the key w ill appear when that key is pressed.
