Installin g a battery

► Position the battery at the edge.
► Push the battery into the batter y slot until you fee l it lock into place (1).
► Complete the removal, see chapter "
Finishing component remo val", Page 72.
Module

The design of your notebook enables the flexible use of no tebook ba tteries and drives. The
following m o dules can be operated in the module bay of your notebook:
• Seco nd b attery
• Second hard disk drive
• Optical drive
• Empty plug-in unit (save weight)
Only use modules designed for your notebook.
Do not use force when installing or removing the module.
Make sure that no foreign objects enter the module bay.
You can swap modules during operation. This means you do not
need to sw itch off the notebook.
To replace a module, simply click o n the corresponding icon in the
task bar an d then o n Exit or Select - Exit.
The module c an now be removed without any further actions being necessary.
