Indicator Description
Power-on indicator/Standby

• Indicator is illuminated: The notebook is switched o n.
• Indicator flashes: The notebook is in standby mode.
• Indicator is off: T he notebook is switched off.
Battery charging in dicator/p ower connector
The state of charge of the battery is shown by the battery indicator.
• The indicator lights up in white: The battery is charged.
• The indicator lights up orange: the mains adapter is connected and the battery
is being charged.
• The indicator flashes orange: A fault has occurred.
• The indicator is not illuminated: T he mains adapter is not connected .

Battery indicator
• The indicator lights up in white: Th e battery charge is between 51% and 100%
of its maximum.
• The indicator lights up in orange: The battery charge is between 13% a nd
50% of its maximum.
• The indicator lights up red: The battery is charged to b etween 0% and 12% of
its maximum capacity.
• The indicator is not illuminated: N o battery is inserted.
• Indicator flashes red: An error has occured.

keypad is activated. You can output the characters indicated on the upper right of
the keys.
Caps Lock indicator

you type will appear in upper case. In the case of overlay k eys, the character
printed on the upper left of the key will appear when that key is pressed.
