Wireless components LAN / Bluetooth / LTE (optional)
The installation of radio components not approved by Fujitsu will invalidate
the certifications issued for this device.
Switching the wireless components on and off
► Press the button to start the WirelessS elector.
The wireless component indicator will be illuminated when one or mo re
wireless components is switched on.
If you disconnect the wireless components, the wireless LAN antennae and
the Bluetooth and LTE modules are disconnected.
You can enable and disable the installed wireless compo nents individually
using the WirelessSelector programme
Pay attention to the additional safety notes for devices with wireless components
provided in the "Safety/Regulations" manual.
Details on using Wireless LAN can be found in the online help system
included in the W ireless LAN software.
You can find more information on how to use Bluetooth on the CD you
received with your Bluetooth s oftware.
For further information about LTE, please contact your service provider.
Setting up WLAN access
• Requirement: A WLAN must be available and you must h ave the
corresponding access information.
Information on configuring the WLAN access can be found in the
documentation for your operating system.
Access via LTE (optiona l)
If you ordered an integrated LTE module with your syste m, you can enjoy optimum
reception and maximum energy efficiency without aw kwa rd cables or antennas. Th e
optional LTE module is ready for use straight away.
You will find information on establishing the connection with the LTE network in the
documentation for the hardw are y ou plan to use.
Your device can connect with the Internet via LT E . To do this, use one of
the following types of connection:
• Integrated LTE module (depending on your model variant)
• a USB dongle (a USB stick with your mobile phone provider’s SIM card)
• a mobile end-device (e.g. mobile phone with Bluetooth or cable connection)
