Inserting and removing the hard disk (HDD)
and M.2 module
The hard disk service compartment contains two installation spaces for standard hard
disks (HDD) and one installation space for an M.2 module.
Removing a cover
• Remove the cover of the memory service compartment; see "Remo ving a cover", Page 59.

► Remove the screws (1).
Keep the screws in a safe place. If you are removing more than one component at
the same time, store the screws for the individual components separately from each
other. If you install the wrong screws, co mponents may be damaged.
The screws are not all the same length and when the cover is installed,
the correct screws must b e used.
► Lift the cover off the notebook (2).
