When setting a Fabric connection, complete the preparatory work and set up the Fibre Channel switch or
the CEE/FCoE switch beforehand. For setting details, refer to "FUJITSU Storage ETERNUS DX Configuration
Guide -Server Connection- (Fibre Channel) Fibre Channel Switch Settings", "Converged Enhanced Ethernet
Administrator's Guide", or "Fabric OS Administrator's Guide".
2.1.2 Sense Data Conversion (Setting the Host Responses)
The ETERNUS DX sense data conversion must be set to match the way in which the server will process the
ETERNUS DX request responses.
Set the parameters according to the conditions that are described in Table 2.5.
Retain the default values for all of the parameters that are not described below. If multiple conditions apply,
set the parameters so that all of these conditions are met.
When setting the access path using the ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser, the host responses for FC host will be
set to default values. Set the host responses after setting the access path using the ETERNUS SF Storage
Cruiser.
